Location
Located on the south eastern corner of the island of Rarotonga, Heliconia, is hidden behind gently angled coconut trees on the shores of our turquoise lagoon. Heliconia Beach Bungalow is right on the beach and has its own private access to what is Rarotonga’s best swimming and snorkeling.

It is spacious comprising 2 Queen bedrooms, a full kitchen and spacious living and dining area including a generous entertaining deck. Facilities include a flat screen TV, DVD, surround sound. 2 Queen Size Beds, double robes, overhead fans, mosquito nets, full kitchen including fridge,cooking facilities,dishwasher etc., full laundry facilty and off street parking.You can enjoy the separate dining and lounge area as well as the sunny entertaining deck. As the reef is at your front door you will be supplied snorkeling gear to enjoy all that the marine reserve has to offer.
Extra Services
On arrangement an in house Gourmet Chef Service can be arranged and served on the deck or beach of the your bungalow for a special experience. As well, we also have available an in house full massage service. This can also be enjoyed on the deck or on the beach entertaining area with just the sounds of the lapping lagoon water to accompany you. We can also assist in your selection of rental bikes and vehicles, deep sea game fishing and scuba diving.
Activities
Heliconia Beach Bungalow is situated on a marine reserve and you are able to enjoy a swim at your doorstep in turquoise lagoon waters that have an average temperature of 28C. Swimming and snorkeling can be enjoyed any day on any tide. You can kayak to the reef only 300 metres from the shore and explore the wonders of our resident marine life. Take a walk at sunset and enjoy the colours of what can only be a Cook Island sunset. Take a tour of the island by bus or hire a car or motor cycle and enjoy the local scene it is what makes Rarotonga so special and so different.
Some of the extra outside activities that can be easily accessed nearby are: Biking trails, horse riding, walking trails, Game Fishing, sailing, over the reef snorkeling and diving amongst others.
Heliconia is also situated close to some of our islands best restaurants and café's including our own Garden Café in the Maire Nui Botanical Gardens.
