Located on the prettiest beach on the south eastern corner of the island of Rarotonga, Heliconia Villa, is hidden behind gently angled coconut trees on the shores of our turquoise lagoon. Heliconia is absolute beachfront.

Under the thatched roof and vaulted timber ceilings, Heliconia Villa offers a luxurious standard of holiday living including, a grand living and sleeping area with the latest entertainment facilities including a flat screen TV, DVD, surround sound and a King Size Heavenly Bed looking out to the aqua lagoon and the breaking reef. To the front you have a large entertaining deck with a Gourmet Stainless Steel BarBQ and oven.
You can also enjoy separate dining and a beautiful tropical bathroom which leads to a secluded deck and an outside under the stars pebble bath for two all in a private courtyard with a luxury tropical garden and sun deck. And of course you have your own double kayak and snorkel gear to explore the reef from your front door.

Contemporary in design and with the overall feel of a tropical bungalow, Heliconia Villa has many modern features including; a modern kitchen, a walk through robe, a large bathroom, entertainment centre, an outside pebble bath for two in a very private tropical courtyard, a gourmet barbeque, separate dining area, a heavenly king bed, air conditioning and an overhead fan. All of this along with a very large deck at the waters edge, a rich timber internal flooring and an outside shower and hammock.
Extra Services
On arrangement an in house Gourmet Chef Service can arranged and served on the deck of the your villa for a special experience. As well, we also have available an in house full massage service. This can also be enjoyed on the deck with just the sounds of the lapping lagoon water to accompany you. We can also assist in your selection of rental bikes and vehicles, deep sea game fishing and scuba diving.
Activities
The Heliconia properties are situated on a marine reserve and you are able to enjoy a swim at your doorstep in warm lagoon waters( never below 24deg Celsius) .Swimming and snorkeling can be enjoyed any day on any tide. You can kayak to the reef only 300 metres from the shore and explore the wonders of our resident marine life including turtles, clams and hundreds of varieties of topical fish. Take a walk at sunset and enjoy the colours of what can only be a Cook Island sunset. Take a tour of the island by bus or hire a car or motor cycle and enjoy the local scene... it is what makes Rarotonga so special and so different.
Some of the extra outside activities that can be easily accessed nearby are: Biking trails, horse riding, walking trails, Game Fishing, sailing, over the reef snorkeling and diving amongst others.
Heliconia Villa is also situated close to some of our islands best restaurants and cafés including our own Garden Café in the Maire Nui Botanical Gardens.
